Born and raised in North Idaho, Lane Steinacher started in the construction industry at the age of 15. An interest in architecture and design, combined with an intense work ethic, led Lane to a career building local homes under a master craftsman. After spending a decade learning necessary skills, Lane took some time to explore other interests, including core drilling in Alaska and running water lines for oil fracking in Colorado. Realizing that his personal gratification came from seeing results built with own hands, Lane chose to return to Coeur d’Alene and began Alpine Custom Carpentry.

 

 

After many years working with local quality contractors, Lane realized a need for a company that could provide superior client-driven service to guide homeowners through the building process, from the ground to the peak. Alpine Custom Carpentry was his solution.
